1000 Books Before Kindergarten

1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a free program that encourages you to read 1,000 books with your child before he or she enters 5 year old Kindergarten – a goal experts say will help children learn to read for themselves.

No School Fridays

On hold – please check back when we are ready to resume in-person programs

On No-School-Fridays for the Plymouth School District, the Plymouth Public Library will host activities for the kids.  Most months, there will be a movie showing of a newly released title.  The movie will start at 10:00 a.m. Crafts and board games will be available all day.  Look for more info in your child’s take-home folder or  the PSD digital Friday folder. Children in fourth grade and below must remain with a caregiver. Bring a friend with you!

LEGO Club and Playdough Playdate

On hold – please check back when we are ready to resume in-person programs.

Two classic kids toys – LEGOs and playdough – will join together for a great Saturday morning of fun.  This is an open-house event for all ages.  Ages 5 and under – a caregiver must remain in the room.  Ages 6-10 – a caregiver must remain in the building.  Older students are welcome to come without a caregiver.  Text or email the phrase, LEGOs, to plymouthlibraryyouth@gmail.com to receive a reminder of each month’s meeting.
