Plymouth Seed Library (OPEN)
Come and get FREE seeds to start your own garden!
The Seed Library is in the old card catalog, located upstairs next to the circulation desk near elevator. Anyone is welcome to take seeds any time during library hours.
How it Works:
- Find some seeds you want to plant.
- Seed envelopes are in the drawers.
- Take up to six envelopes.
- Please do not take more so others can have an opportunity to get the seeds they are looking for.
- Fill out a checkout form and drop it in the collection container.
- For planting tips, tricks and instructions, visit the Wisconsin Horticulture Society, Seed Savers, or Urban Farmer.
The seed library is comprised of seeds purchased by the library and by seed donations from members of the community, so donations are welcome!
To donate, there is a basket near the seed library where you can place your donated seeds. Please label the container you have the seeds in so we know what the seeds are. Otherwise, we will not be able to put it in our seed library.
Happy planting!
